Flex-Connect Ultra Dual Tray

Description

The standard dual tray will not take a SportDiver Ultra, which is the gap this fills. It is bow-shaped, cut wide enough for the Ultra and other wide housings, and the bow is what buys that width without pushing the grips further apart than a diver can comfortably reach. Construction is rugged polycarbonate for holding strength and stiffness under two loaded arms. It mounts to any camera using a standard 1/4-20 tripod screw, and two 1/4-20 female threads underneath take a lens dock or other accessories, which keeps a spare wet lens on the rig instead of in a pocket. Turning the tray moves the grips and lights forward of the port, which is where they belong for close work, or leaves them behind it for general shooting. So the rig gets built around the housing rather than the housing squeezed into a rig. Camera, grips and lights are not included. It suits a SportDiver Ultra owner mounting two lights.
