OrcaTorch Flexdive

Description

Buying a second torch because the first one does not run long enough is the usual way a light collection grows. The FlexDive is built as three separate parts, a head, a battery pack and a connecting cable, so changing the runtime means changing a pack rather than buying another torch. One head carries two beams: an 8 degree spot for signalling, penetration and close inspection, and a 150 degree flood for wide-area lighting and video, with both on high at once giving 8000 lumens. Output holds constant rather than fading as the pack drains. Three configurations are stocked, TEC Handheld, TEC Canister and Video, which is how one platform covers a cave penetration, a recreational night dive and a filming dive. Packs charge over USB-C or by magnetic tail contact, sit under the 100 watt-hour airline limit so they travel as cabin baggage, and double as a power bank between dives. It suits a diver who wants one light system rather than three torches.
