FLEXDIVE

The OrcaTorch FlexDive is a modular dive light built as three separate parts, a light head, a battery pack and a connecting cable, so one platform covers technical, canister and video diving. Changing the runtime means swapping a pack rather than buying a second torch.

One head carries two beams. The 8 degree spot handles signalling, penetration and close inspection, while the 150 degree flood covers wide-area lighting and video. Both on high at once give 8000 lumens. The body is rated to 150 metres. The B98 pack holds 14.8 volts and 98 watt-hours, the B49 holds 14.8 volts and 49 watt-hours, and each charges over USB-C or by magnetic tail contact. Output stays constant rather than fading as the cell drains.

The result is a light that adapts to the dive instead of the dive adapting to the light. A cave or wreck penetration takes the canister and the larger pack, a recreational night dive takes the handheld and the smaller one, and a filming dive takes the video head, all from the same components. A safe lock keeps the head from switching on inside a packed bag.

Three configurations are stocked: TEC Handheld, TEC Canister and Video. Both packs sit under the 100 watt-hour airline limit, so they travel as cabin baggage, and both double as a power bank for a camera or dive computer between dives. Heads, packs and the C98 cable are sold separately.
