Big Blue Fluorodive Kit FDK44 for VL4600P and VTL2900P

Description

Fluorescence is one of the few things in diving that cannot be seen without the right equipment at all, rather than merely seen better. It needs a blue excitation filter over the light to supply the wavelength coral responds to, and an amber barrier filter over the eyes to block the blue reflecting back off everything that is not fluorescing. This kit supplies both, sized at 44 millimetres for the VL4600P and VTL2900P. The fit has to be exact, because white light escaping round the edge of a filter washes out the glow entirely, which is why each head diameter has its own kit rather than one adjustable version. That answers a night dive on a reef, and it produces images most divers have never seen in person. It suits a VL4600P or VTL2900P owner trying fluorescence diving.
