Big Blue Fluorodive Kit FDK55 for VTL4200P and VL11000P

Description

This is the 55 millimetre kit, fitting the VTL4200P, VL11000P and VL9000P Tri Color. Fluorescence diving is a two-filter technique and neither half works on its own: a blue excitation filter over the light supplies the wavelength that makes coral fluoresce, while an amber barrier filter over the eyes blocks the blue reflecting back off sand, rock and everything else that is not glowing. What remains is only the light the coral itself emits. The seal matters as much as the filters, because white light leaking round the edge of a badly sized filter washes the whole effect away, which is why the kit is chosen by light head diameter rather than by preference. It suits a VTL4200P, VL11000P or VL9000P Tri Color owner trying fluorescence diving.
