Big Blue Fluorodive Kit FDK63 for the 63mm Range

Description

The 63 millimetre kit covers more of Big Blue's range than any other, fitting the VTL9000P, CB7200P, CB11000P, VTL9000P Max, VTL11000P, VTL13500P Max, VL15000P Plus and VL15000P Tri Color Plus. Fluorescence diving needs two filters working as a pair: a blue excitation filter over the light to supply the wavelength coral responds to, and an amber barrier filter over the eyes to block the blue bouncing back off everything that is not fluorescing. Only the glow the coral itself produces gets through. The fit has to be exact, because white light escaping round the edge washes the effect out entirely, which is why each head diameter has its own kit. That answers a night dive on a coral reef. It suits an owner of any of those eight lights trying fluorescence diving.
