Description

Fluorescence diving needs two filters working together, and one without the other shows nothing. A blue excitation filter goes over the light to strip everything but the wavelength that makes coral fluoresce, and an amber barrier filter goes over the eyes to block the blue reflecting straight back, leaving only the glow the coral itself produces. This kit supplies both, sized for the AL1300NP and the AL1300NP Tail. It is the reason a reef that reads as ordinary brown by day turns green and orange at night, and it is a genuinely different dive rather than a variation on a night dive. Getting the right kit matters, because the filter has to fit the light head diameter exactly to seal out white light leaking round the edge. It suits an AL1300NP owner trying fluorescence diving.
