Free Divers Braided Reel Line 2mm per Metre

Description

Reel line takes the strain of a fish on the run, and 2mm braid gives a good balance between strength, low drag and smooth handling. Free Divers sell their 2mm braided speargun reel line by the metre in orange, blue, red and green. The slim profile lets more line fit on a reel, a real advantage on compact reels or for fish that run deep. Respooling a reel after a season of abrasion on rocks is the most common use. Some divers pick a colour that stands out in the water so the line is easy to follow, while others match the line on their float rig. Free Divers reels take 40m or 50m of 2mm braid, depending on the spool. The price is per metre, so the quantity chosen is the number of metres. It suits a spearfisher loading or replacing line on a speargun reel.
