Free Divers Couta Flasher

Description

Couta hunt by sight, and a flash of baitfish at the edge of the visibility is often what brings one close enough for a shot. The Free Divers couta flasher uses larger reflective fish-shaped plates strung on a line with a skirted lure, built for couta and other big pelagic predators. It comes on its own or as a complete rig with a float and line. On a boat drift along a reef edge, the flasher sits in the water column beside the diver and gives passing fish a reason to come closer. When the water is clear but the fish are shy, it can bring them into range. Replacement plates are sold separately. It suits a spearfisher targeting couta and other pelagic species who wants a ready-made flasher rig.
