Description
Two-band guns need a spear that can take both wishbones, and the Free Divers Double Notch spear is cut with two notches for that set-up. The shaft is high tensile spring steel with an anti-corrosive coating, and a Free Divers barb comes fitted as standard. On a Blue Water gun rigged with two 16mm bands, the 7mm shaft matches the spear the gun is supplied with. A diver chasing heavier fish can step up to 7.5 or 8mm for extra mass, while the 6.6mm plated option keeps a lighter shaft for reef work. Lengths run from 90cm to 1.7m, so the spear can be matched to most barrel lengths in the range, or carried as a spare in the boat bag. It suits a spearfisher with a two-band gun who needs a replacement or a heavier shaft.
