Free Divers Horizontal Speargun Reel

Description

A reel on the gun puts extra line between a strong fish and the diver, and the Free Divers horizontal reel is built for that job. It shares the construction of their belt reel: a 30% glass filled nylon body on a stainless steel bracket, with a dynamic drag system to slow a running fish. Two spool sizes are offered. The 50m standard reel takes 50m of 2mm braid, 60m of 1.8mm dyneema or 70m of 1.5mm dyneema, enough for open-water fish that sound deep. The 40m slim line version takes 40m, 50m or 60m of the same lines and suits a lighter reef gun. Divers who rig their own line can buy either reel empty, while others order it loaded. It suits a spearfisher adding a reel to a speargun for bigger fish.
