Free Divers Protege Elite Speargun

Description

Learning to hunt is easier with a gun that loads simply and shoots straight, and the Free Divers Protege Elite keeps the set-up deliberately simple. One 16mm band drives a 6.5mm spear along a deep integrated plastic rail, while the frictionless trigger gives a clean, silent release. On a shallow reef dive, the shorter lengths swing onto a fish that appears at close range among the rocks. Diving from the shore, a compact barrel is easier to manage through surge and narrow gullies. On a boat day over open ground, the longer barrels add reach while keeping to a single band that a newer diver can load comfortably. The range runs from 50 to 120cm, and each gun arrives rigged with a DIY wishbone, tuna clip and muzzle bungee. It suits a beginner or intermediate spearfisher targeting smaller reef and open-water species on an aluminium gun.
