Free Divers Rubicon Horizon Speargun

Description

Moving from a first gun to proper reef and pelagic hunting does not have to mean a heavy rig, and the Free Divers Rubicon Horizon keeps the step manageable. A single 16mm band drives a 6.5mm single notch spear along a deep rail, and the frictionless acetal trigger gives a smooth, silent release. In the shallows, a 50 to 70cm barrel handles quick shots among rocks and kelp. Off a boat over a reef edge, the 100 to 120cm lengths add the reach a passing pelagic demands. Between those, the mid lengths make a sensible all-round choice for a diver still learning which ground suits them best. The aluminium barrel comes in eight lengths, and each gun is supplied with a DIY wishbone, tuna clip and muzzle boingi. It suits a beginner or intermediate spearfisher who wants one gun that can follow them from reef to open water.
