Description
Small fittings do a lot of work in a float rig, and a swivel snap clip stops the line twisting while letting gear clip on and off quickly. The Free Divers snap clip combines a snap with a swivel for rigging float lines, boingies and stringers. Clipping a float line to a boingi is the most common use, where the swivel lets the line turn as a fish spins. It also links a stringer or a flasher rig to the float. Divers rebuilding a float rig at the start of the season can replace tired clips in one go. A clip that has started to bend or open under load should be retired rather than trusted with a big fish. It suits a spearfisher building or maintaining float lines and rigs.
