Description
Latex bands lose snap with age, sun and stretch, and fresh rubber is the simplest way to bring a speargun back to full power. Free Divers sell US latex speargun rubber by the metre in three diameters: 14mm, 16mm and 20mm with an amber core. A diver re-rigging a two-band gun can match the 16mm bands used on the Blue Water and roller guns. The 20mm amber-core rubber suits guns built around a single 20mm band, such as the Ranger Elite and Rubicon Zenith. Anyone who rigs their own bands for several guns can order a longer length and make up spares before a trip. The price shown is per metre of straight rubber, so the quantity chosen is the number of metres. It suits a spearfisher who cuts and rigs their own speargun bands.
