Air Spool and Flow Restrictor Kit (Descent T1/T2)

Description

A transmitter screwed straight into a first stage and a transmitter fitted on the end of a high-pressure hose need different hardware at the thread, and Garmin is clear that the correct part must always be in place for the transmitter to work safely. This kit carries both parts for the Descent T1 and Descent T2: a flow restrictor for a transmitter fitted directly to the high-pressure port of a regulator, and an air spool for a transmitter mounted on a high-pressure hose. Only one of the two is used at a time, depending on how the transmitter is installed. It earns its place when a transmitter moves from the first stage onto a hose for a sidemount or stage configuration, when a second regulator set is built up as a travel kit, and when the original part has gone missing from a regulator that is due back in the water. Garmin's quick start manual covers the fitting. It suits any diver running a Descent T1 or T2.
