Garmin Descent Mk2i

Description

Checking tank pressure on a console means looking away from the reef, and the Descent Mk2i puts it on the wrist. Paired with a Descent T2 transceiver on the first stage, sold separately, it reads pressure over SubWave sonar from up to five transmitters and works out gas time remaining and consumption rate. Underneath sit full technical modes: air, nitrox and trimix up to 100% oxygen, multi-gas, closed-circuit rebreather, gauge, apnea and apnea hunt, rated to 100 m with Bühlmann ZHL-16c and gradient factors. A diver on a liveaboard sees remaining gas time without unclipping a gauge. A sidemount diver tracks both cylinders on one screen. A buddy pair on transmitters can keep an eye on each other's gas. Dive battery runs up to 80 hours. This is the watch on its own; the Descent Mk2i T1 Bundle adds a transmitter in the box. It suits a diver who wants air integration on a large titanium watch.
