Garmin QuickFit 22 mm Dive Bands

Description

Changing a watch band should not need a jeweller's tools, and a dive band should not leave you wondering whether it will close over neoprene. These are the 22 mm QuickFit dive bands, sized for the Descent G1 Solar and the Descent G2. Each is a longer silicone strap with a diver's extension and a metal closure, so the same computer fits a bare wrist at a desk and a 5 mm sleeve on a winter shore dive. The change takes seconds: press the release, lift the old band away, click the new one in. Divers who wear a Descent as an everyday watch tend to keep two bands and swap them by activity, and a spare in the save-a-dive kit covers the one failure that will otherwise cut a trip short. Pick a colour that matches the watch, or a brighter one that is easier to spot when it comes loose in a gear bag.
