Garmin QuickFit 26 mm Dive Bands

Description

The largest Descent computers take the widest band, and the band decides whether a big computer is comfortable or a nuisance. These are the 26 mm QuickFit dive bands, made for the Descent Mk2i, the Descent Mk3i in 51 mm and the Descent X30. Silicone, with a metal closure and a diver's extension long enough to reach around a drysuit sleeve, they carry the weight of a larger watch without digging in over a long dive. Swapping takes no tools: press, lift, click. A perished or stretched band is one of the more common reasons a good computer stops being worn, and at this price it is worth replacing before it fails rather than after. Keep a spare for travel, particularly on a liveaboard where a broken band cannot be replaced mid-trip. Choose a colour to match the computer, or something brighter to pick out on a crowded boat.
