Glide Pro Swim Buoy

Description

A swim buoy with one air chamber is one puncture away from being useless, which is a poor arrangement for the item whose whole job is to be there if something goes wrong. The Glide Pro carries two independent chambers, each with its own external valve, so a deflation on one still leaves buoyancy on the other. The chamber walls form a central dry compartment between them, sealed with a roll-down top and pinch-clip closure, which makes a genuinely watertight pocket for spare goggles, car keys, a water bottle or a GPS tracker, and a beacon light can be slipped inside to raise visibility in low light. The material is tough and high-visibility yellow. An adjustable waist strap with a lanyard keeps it attached, and the top buckle carries a built-in whistle for emergency signalling. Capacity is 28 litres. It suits an open water swimmer going far enough that a single chamber is not enough.
