Description

Two jobs come out of one frosted dome. Fitted over the front of a light it stops the beam being a beam, spreading it into a soft glow readable from any direction, which is what a marker on a shot line, a boat ladder or a night entry point has to do and what a directed cone does badly. On a camera rig the same diffusion softens the light, wrapping it around a close subject and removing the hard shadow edge a bare LED leaves down one side of everything it hits. This is the 55 millimetre size, fitting the VL11000P, VL11000PBRC, VL9000P Tri Color and VTL4200P. Larger diameters in the same series cover the bigger heads. That answers a shot line, a night dive marker and close-in photography. It suits a diver marking a position or softening a light.
