Description

The one thing a weight belt has to do reliably is come off, immediately, with one hand, possibly by someone else. The Gozo's quick-release stainless steel buckle is built for that: instinctive and rapid emergency release, with a buckle pin that passes right through and is riveted at both ends, which is the construction detail that stops a pin working loose under load. The belt itself is strong woven nylon, which holds its length rather than stretching, so weights sit where they were positioned rather than migrating around the hips through a dive. That predictability suits scuba, where the belt is set once over a suit that will not change thickness much through the dive. Stainless steel on the buckle is the correct specification for something that lives permanently in salt water. It is finished in black and silver. It suits a diver who wants a stable, non-stretch belt with a proper release.
