Hard Shell Dive Mask Case

Description

A mask packed loose is under a cylinder, a weight belt or a pair of fins before the bag reaches the car, and a silicone skirt held folded takes a set. A set skirt leaks along the cheekbone until it recovers, if it recovers at all. This moulded EVA shell answers that one failure: stiff enough to hold its shape under load, light enough not to add much to a packed bag. The interior follows the outline of a mask, so the skirt is supported rather than compressed and the lens is held clear of the shell. A zip runs the perimeter and a side clip lets the case hang from a bag or a D-ring instead of being buried at the bottom of one. It takes a single or twin lens mask within 19 by 13 by 7.5 cm. It suits any mask that travels in a full dive bag.
