Description

Red light lets a diver close on an animal that white light would send straight into a hole, and having it on the head rather than in the hand means the approach can be made with both hands free. This head light carries 150 lumens of red alongside a 120 degree extra-wide white beam, from two Cree LEDs and two XPE red LEDs at 6500K. The white side runs 1000 lumens for 2 hours, 500 for 4, 250 for 8 and 100 for 20, from a rechargeable 18650 cell. It weighs 207 grams with the cell in and sits 76 grams negative, built on a polycarbonate body with an aluminium alloy light head and tested to 100 metres. A head strap ships in the box. That answers a night dive, a macro approach and a wreck survey. It suits a diver who wants red light without occupying a hand.
