Description

Cold water diving punishes badly fitted kit more than warm water does, because everything is thicker, stiffer and harder to reach. This set is assembled against that. The Pro HD women's BCD is cut to a women's pattern with an adjustable waistband that copes with the jump from a 3 mm suit to a drysuit, and the Helix Compact Pro carries a smaller second stage body with the full cold water package behind it: an environmental chamber sealing the mechanism, a heat exchanger resisting ice at the valve inlet, a lip shield and an Auto Closure Device. A matching octopus and a two-gauge console complete the gas side. Work of breathing is 1.35 joules per litre and the first stage is 525 g in DIN. Ditchable weight sits on the patented SureLock II release, operable in thick gloves. It suits a woman diving cold water who wants a regulator sized to her jaw as well as the conditions.
