Apeks Hose Inflation 250mm

Description

A wing inflator on a backplate rig sits a hand span from the first stage, and a full length hose there simply loops. This is the short Apeks low pressure inflator hose at 250mm. On a backplate and wing the short run keeps the corrugated hose clean and stops a loop from catching a light or a bolt snap. On a sidemount rig it feeds the buoyancy cell from a first stage mounted close by. On a rebuild it replaces the short feed without disturbing the rest of the hose set. Inflator hoses are easy to forget on a service because they are hidden under a wing, so they are worth checking for stiffness and cracking at the same interval as the rest. It suits a technical or backplate diver whose inflator sits close to the first stage.
