Apeks Hose HP Flexi 800mm

Description

Rubber gauge hoses stiffen with age and fight the diver when a console is pulled up to read. The Apeks Flexi high pressure hose is an 800 mm braided alternative that bends easily and packs smaller in a regulator bag. On a travel set it folds into a tight coil, saving space and weight allowance. On a cold water dive, where rubber hoses stiffen further, the braided line stays supple enough to bring a gauge up to the mask in thick gloves. On a sidemount or twinset build it routes neatly along the harness without springing away from the body. Braided hoses need a visual check for fraying at each service, like any hose, and fitting should be carried out by a regulator technician. It suits a diver who wants a lighter, more flexible gauge line.
