Description

Yellow on an octopus hose is not decoration, it is the convention that lets a diver out of gas identify which regulator to take without being told. This is the Apeks yellow low pressure hose for an alternate air source. On a recreational rig it runs from a medium pressure port to an octopus clipped in the triangle where a buddy expects to find it. On a boat it separates the backup from a crate of identical black hoses at a glance. On a service it replaces a yellow hose that has faded or gone hard, which happens faster to coloured rubber than to black. The 3/8 inch UNF fitting goes onto any Apeks first stage. It suits a diver replacing an octopus hose or fitting a second stage bought without one, and a flexi version is also stocked.
