Description

Regulator hoses age from the outside in, and a bulge or a crack at the crimp is the usual sign a hose has had its last service. This Apeks low pressure hose is a 1 m replacement with a 3/8 inch fitting, the length that suits a primary second stage routed over the shoulder or an octopus on a longer run. After a service where the technician has flagged a perished hose, it is the part that gets a regulator back in the water. On a set being reconfigured, for example moving an octopus to the other side, it gives a different reach from the hose that came in the box.
