Description

Eighty centimetres is the length that routes a console under the left arm and brings it to the hip, which is where a gauge can be read without unclipping anything. Longer and it trails; shorter and it stands off the body. Pebax is a flexible thermoplastic rated to the same working pressure as rubber while being lighter and far more supple, so the console lies against the diver instead of pushing away from them. High pressure hoses do not burst. They weep, so a fine stream of bubbles at either swage is the signal to replace one rather than watch it. That makes an HP hose a service item on a schedule rather than a part changed after a failure. It suits a pressure gauge or a console routed to the left hip.
