Description

Instrumentation that has to be raised into view is competing with the dive for attention. Mounting the display on the mask ends that argument: precision near-eye optics put a floating image at a virtual distance of roughly one metre, so depth, time and remaining bottom time sit where the eye already is, and the screen flips out of the way on its hinge when it is not wanted. The panel is a full-colour micro OLED at 96 by 64 pixels driven by one push-wheel knob. Rated depth is 120 metres. Two algorithms are selectable, predictive multi-gas ZH-L16 ADT MB PMG or ZH-L16 GF, across up to eight gases including nitrox and trimix plus two CCR set points. Memory holds 2 GB, some 10,000 hours of profiles, and the rechargeable cell gives 20 hours of dive time or 27 in power save. A 3D full-tilt compass stores three headings and built-in GPS covers surface navigation. It suits a diver who wants the data in the line of sight.
