Description

Long hair dragged loose at depth by a mask strap is a nuisance a hood solves before the strap goes on, which is why this vest suits divers with long hair as much as it suits cold ones. It is a sleeveless 1 mm vest with an integrated hood, cut on the women's block across a shorter size run than the men's version. The shell blends 1 mm X-Foam neoprene with high-stretch nylon, and a micro-plush fleece lines the underside of the nylon panels; that fleece takes on less water than a plain lining, so heat stays against the body and the vest dries between dives. The foam is made with no petroleum and stays inside the P.A.H. limits set on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. The torso panel adds core warmth under a 5 mm suit, and the whole thing takes almost no room in a kit bag. Five sizes run XS to XL. There is no face seal on the hood. It suits a woman layering under a wetsuit.
