Description

A textured rubber sole is what separates this from a plain fin liner: it can be walked on across a wet deck. Beyond that it does three jobs from one purchase. Inside a full foot fin it takes the rub that becomes a blister by the third dive of a Sodwana week; inside a dive boot it adds warmth without forcing a size up; on a cold boat deck it goes on alone while the suit is still off. The outer is 100 percent high-stretch Everflex nylon over 2.5 mm neoprene, with a plush lined interior, and the sole is textured high-density rubber cut for light non-slip protection rather than for rock. Sizes are paired rather than single across five bands covering junior through adult feet, in black, sold as a pair. At 2.5 mm the sock tightens a full foot fin pocket, so a fin fitted bare-footed may want the next size up. An open heel fin pocket calls for a boot instead. It suits a diver in full foot fins or a cold boat deck.
