Intova Fibre Optic Cable for Edge X

Description

A slave strobe fires when it sees the camera's flash, so the light signal has to reach its sensor reliably on every shot, and this Intova fibre optic cable carries it directly. It connects an Intova PX-21 strobe to an Intova Edge X camera. A specially designed Velcro pad attaches to the PX-21's waterproof housing and aims the light signal into the strobe's trigger sensor, while a custom adapter on the other end fits securely to the top of the Edge X. Intova supplies a hex wrench to adjust the cable and a zip tie to secure it to the mounting system. On a macro dive, a cabled connection keeps the strobe firing when it is angled away from the camera. The strobe, camera, base stay and flex arm are all sold separately. It suits an Intova Edge X owner adding a PX-21 strobe to the setup.
