Intova PX-21 Compact Strobe Kit

Description

A built-in flash lights up every particle in the water between the camera and the subject, and an external strobe set off to one side avoids that backscatter. The Intova PX-21 is a universal slave strobe for digital or film cameras, triggered through its flash sync sensor. Its housing is depth rated to 61 m (200 ft). An automatic light sensor offers three output levels, maximum, medium and minimum, and three pre-flash settings match cameras that fire a pre-flash. Guide number is 40 at ISO 100 (12 m), recycling takes roughly 0.5 to 8 seconds, and a set of alkaline batteries gives roughly 80 to 200 flashes. The beam covers about 38 degrees horizontally and 54 degrees vertically, and a diffuser holder with three diffusers softens the light. It runs on two AAA batteries. On a reef dive, it adds light and colour to subjects close to the lens. It suits a compact camera diver adding a first external strobe.
