The J2 base layer is the thin layer that goes on first, next to the skin, under whatever else you are wearing. It is not there to insulate on its own - it is there to move moisture off you and let the undersuit above it do its job. Skip it and you end up sitting in your own sweat inside a drysuit, which is how people get cold on the second dive.

This is the current J2 generation, built with recycled content. Black, sizes Extra Small to 3X Large.

Replaces the previous J2 Men's L/S Top (J2MTB), which Fourth Element have discontinued.
