Description

A mild Cape shore entry means a walk to the water, and a mid-weight fleece cooks a diver on the way down. These are the thinner half of the two-weight K2 range, cut from Light Grid Plush at 164 grams per square metre within a 5 percent tolerance, breathable, warm and stretchy. That weight is the whole distinction from the K2 Medium: warmth without the bulk that fights a trilaminate suit. The pattern follows the Everflex 1.5 millimetre line, so the cut sits close without bunching under a shell, and elastic heel straps keep the leg down while the drysuit is pulled on. They work under trilaminate and neoprene drysuits and also under a semi-dry wetsuit, which the heavier K2 Medium does not, so a semi-dry gains insulation instead of being replaced. Six sizes run S to 3XL. The matching K2 Light Top is sold separately. Supply is on special order. It suits a diver who runs warm or dives temperate water.
