Description

Drag decides how a long swim ends, and most of it is created by the suit rather than the swimmer. The Kuwae attacks that directly: a smooth exterior finish with Glide Skin XT waterproof treatment, which is what gives it exceptional hydrodynamics rather than merely a slick appearance. The neoprene is 2.0 mm high-density hyperstretch, chosen to optimise comfort while giving UV protection and guarding against scratches, without restricting the stroke. A new low neckline design removes friction around the neck, which is the thing that turns a two hour swim into a raw one. The fluorescent upper section recalls the lava of the Kuwae caldera in the Vanuatu archipelago and, more usefully, makes the swimmer visible in open water. The suit was designed entirely in 3D on virtual mannequins, letting Cressi study fit without producing sample collections. Supplied in size S. It suits a woman swimming distance in open water.
