Lalizas Fire Blanket 120 x 180 cm

Description

A pan of oil that catches on a gas ring needs smothering at once, and the Lalizas Fire Blanket sits in a rigid case ready to pull. It measures 120 x 180 cm and is made in accordance with EN 1869, the European standard for fire blankets. Lalizas names high-risk areas such as kitchens as its natural home, which on the water means the galley of a liveaboard, a charter catamaran or the kitchen at a dive lodge. The rigid PVC case carries the instructions printed on the front, so anyone can use it under stress without hunting for a manual. Two pull tapes hang below the case to draw the blanket out in one movement. Kept beside the cooker, it is the first thing to reach for while someone else fetches the extinguisher. The larger of the two Lalizas sizes, it gives more cover than the 100 x 100 cm version. It suits boat owners, dive centres and lodges that want a simple first response to a small fire.
