Rough water and heavy clothing call for more lift than a harbour jacket gives, and the Lalizas Lifebelt 150N steps up to the 150N class in the same simple foam yoke design. It is approved to ISO 12402-3:2020 for general use, including over foul weather clothing, and is designed to turn an unconscious wearer face-up and hold that position with no action from the wearer. On a skiboat crossing the backline, a deep-sea fishing charter or a dive boat running out to an offshore pinnacle, that extra margin is welcome. A 30 mm waist belt with two loops keeps it in place, and a lifting loop gives the crew something solid to grab when hauling a casualty back aboard. It carries 300 sq cm of SOLAS retroreflective tape and a whistle for finding someone in poor light. This adult size fits wearers over 40 kg.
