Lalizas SOLAS Lifebuoy Ring 73 cm

Description

When someone goes over the side, a ring thrown within reach buys the minutes a boat needs to turn around, and the Lalizas SOLAS Lifebuoy Ring is built for that moment. It carries SOLAS, MED, UK MER and Transport Canada approval and gives at least 145 N of buoyancy. The hard polyethylene shell over a polyurethane foam core does not deteriorate in extreme weather, so it can live on a dive boat rail or a harbour wall all year, and it is rated for storage from minus 30 to 65 degrees C. The grab line around the ring withstands oil and flame and gives a casualty something quick to hold. A total of 400 sq cm of SOLAS retroreflective tape shows up in a searchlight at night. The 2.5 kg ring is the lighter throw, while the 4 kg version is tested for use with a lifebuoy light and smoke signal. Lalizas recommends pairing it with a floating line and a Lalizas lifebuoy light.
