Lalizas Megaphone with Siren 20 W

Description

Shouting across open water against wind and engine noise rarely works, and the Lalizas Megaphone with Siren puts 20 W behind a voice with a reach of about 400 m. On a dive boat the skipper can call a surfaced group back to the pickup point or warn a skiboat away from a diver-down flag. At a regatta or a beach event, the siren setting gets attention before an announcement. Harbour and marina staff can direct boats at a busy slipway without leaving the jetty. The housing is ABS plastic, the bell measures 200 mm across and the unit is 330 mm long, so it stows in a cockpit locker. It runs on six 1.5 V C-size batteries, and the function switch moves between talk and siren, or music. The red body is easy to find in a hurry. It suits dive operators, sailing clubs and marina staff who need to be heard over open water.
