LB-T01 Lens Barrier

Description

An ordinary lens cap gets pulled off, pocketed and forgotten, and from that moment the front element meets whatever else is in the bag. This one never leaves the camera. Rotating the outer ring opens and closes the barrier in place, and it works with gloves on. What it protects is the one part of a crushproof, shockproof camera that is still glass, and a scratched front element shows as flare on every frame taken afterwards. It also keeps dust and moisture off the lens surface. Fitment runs the TG-7 back to the TG-1. Two compatibility points to check: it can't be used with either silicone jacket, the CSCH-127 or the CSCH-128 for the TG-7, since the jacket and the barrier occupy the same fitting, while the CSCH-107 hard case is sized to take a camera with the barrier fitted. The FD-1 and LG-1 both mount over the front and are used with the barrier open. It suits a TG owner who keeps losing lens caps.
