Description

The usual compromise on a travel rig is a lighter regulator, and it is the wrong thing to give up, because breathing effort is felt on every dive of the trip. This set keeps the full Leg3nd Elite with its matching octopus and a two-gauge console, and saves the weight on the BCD instead. The Pro HD Compact is under 2.2 kg in ML and L, packs flat or rolled because there is no hard pack inside it, and uses patented flat valves to cut bulk further. Its tank support system pulls the cylinder toward the diver's centre of gravity and transfers load onto the hips. The regulator gives up nothing: over-balanced at both stages, 0.7 joules per litre, separate venturi and cracking effort controls, a permanent dry chamber and de-ice ribs. It suits a diver who flies to their diving and refuses to compromise on the regulator.
