SeaLife Lens Cover for Dome Lens

Description

A scratched dome shows as softness and flare across the whole frame rather than as a mark in one corner, and it cannot be polished out of an optical coating. Replacing the lens costs many times what this cover does. It is neoprene, cut for the Ultra Wide Angle Dome Lens used on the Micro series and the ReefMaster RM-4K, protecting the most exposed and most scratchable part of an underwater rig, which protrudes far enough to meet whatever else a bag contains. Neoprene is the material because it absorbs an impact rather than transmitting it, and because it goes on and comes off wet without complaint. It is for transit and for the time between dives on a boat deck, which is where most dome damage happens rather than in the water. It is cut for that one dome and does not fit the SportDiver domes. Rinse it in fresh water with the rest of the kit. It suits an owner of the SeaLife wide angle dome lens.
