The OM System LG-1 is an LED light guide that mimics the effect of a ring flash for macro photography, redirecting the camera's built-in LED light around the lens to evenly illuminate close-up subjects and avoid casting shadows. It attaches directly to the front of the camera and is compatible with the TG-7, TG-6, TG-5, TG-4, TG-3, TG-2, and TG-1. It's compact and lightweight, suited to detailed shots of small objects.

The LG-1 can remain on the camera underwater but isn't recommended as an underwater lighting accessory, as results in that setting are generally poor.
