LI-92B Lithium Battery

Description

Cold water and heavy LCD use both drain a compact faster than the rated figures suggest, and a second cell costs a fraction of a missed dive. This is the rechargeable lithium-ion battery for the current TOUGH cameras, rated 3.6 volts, 1350 mAh and 4.9 watt hours, weighing about 26 grams. It supersedes the LI-90B with roughly five per cent more capacity and remains backward compatible with the cameras that took the older cell, covering the TG-7, TG-6, TG-5, TG-4 and TG-3 along with other selected OM System and Olympus compacts. Three charging routes exist: externally in the optional UC-90, in the camera through the compact F-2AC adapter supplied with it, or in the camera through the optional F-3AC. Store lithium cells partly charged rather than flat or full, and carry spares in a case rather than loose where they can short against metal. Airlines restrict them in checked baggage, so they travel in the cabin. It suits a TOUGH camera owner wanting a spare.
