Apeks Lifeline Halo 30 mtr

Description

A narrow spool needs many turns to take in thirty metres of line, and every one of them is a chance to drop it. The Halo answers that with a large diameter body that fills the hand, so deployment is controlled and retrieval is fast. On a decompression stop in thick gloves that difference is felt immediately. On a drift dive the swivel stops the line twisting as the buoy turns on the surface. On a cold water dive the easy release pull tabs work without fine finger control. It is machined from one piece of aircraft grade aluminium and anodised, and the line is sewn rather than tied, which is stronger. The spool is deliberately not over-wound, so more line can be added later. A stainless steel bolt snap is included. It suits a diver who wants faster line handling than a conventional spool allows.
