Big Blue VL15000P Plus Light Head

Description

Fifteen thousand lumens across a one hundred and sixty degree spread is a lot of light going a very long way sideways, which is the specification a wide-angle video rig needs and almost nobody else does. At that angle the beam covers a rectilinear frame corner to corner with room left over, so there is no bright circle in the middle and no falloff at the edges to fight in the grade. This is the head assembly for the VL15000P Plus on its own, in a plain box with no battery, charger or accessories, bought to repair a damaged head or to hold as a spare against a shoot that cannot be rescheduled. The housing is tested to one hundred metres. That answers wide-angle video, a large wreck subject and a flooded head. It suits a videographer keeping a VL15000P Plus running.
