Big Blue RGB White II Light Head with Four Colour Settings

Description

Four colours from one head covers work that would otherwise need four lights or a pocket full of filters. White for seeing, red for approaching animals that scatter under white light and for holding dark adaptation, green and blue for the jobs each is better at in water that eats the red end of the spectrum first. Output runs from 30 to 250 lumens, which is deliberately modest: this is a signalling, macro and close-work head rather than a wide-angle video source, and 250 lumens at arm's length is plenty. The source is an XML LED at 6500K cool white, running two hours on a rechargeable 18650 cell. The housing is anodised aluminium alloy, 55.4 millimetres in diameter and 130.6 millimetres long, 457 grams with the battery and 173 grams negative in water. It suits a diver wanting four colours from a single compact head.
