Description

The zip is what decides whether a child's wetsuit gets worn or abandoned, because a back zip means an adult has to be found every time it goes on or comes off. The Little Shark uses a front zip, which a child can manage alone, and it minimises water leaking in once closed. Beyond that it does the job a junior suit is actually bought for: protection wet or dry against sun, wind and cold on a beach or a boat, and Cressi state it is effective protection against jellyfish, which is often the real reason a parent buys one. The fabric is a special highly elastic blend with neoprene, so it gives freedom of movement rather than the stiffness that makes children complain. Sizes cover ages 3/4 to 13/14 in two colourways. It suits a child swimming or snorkelling who needs sun and sting protection without long sleeves.
